Antariksha Sanchar is a fantasy dance opera and India’s first major cultural videogame. It is inspired by the dreams of math genius S. Ramanujan and the Bharatanatyam of Jayalakshmi Eshwar. The project amplifies the vibrant, timeless expressions and philosophy of South India through transmedia art-based experiences.

Since early 2018, in partnership with Red Bull India, electronic music producer Murthovic, visual artist Avinash Kumar and J. Eshwar put together a 90-minute opera that debuted in Bombay at the Royal Opera House, with further stops in Delhi & Bengaluru.

This album features a selection of eight original tracks picked from these criticially acclaimed shows, scored by Murthvoic and his carnatic-electronic ensemble, based out of Hyderabad.

The ensemble included vocalists Shridevi Keshavan and Gopika Jairam, violinists Abhijit Gurjale and Sandilya Pisapati, mridangam player Raghuram Hari, drummer Hitesh Kumar, sarod player Soumalya Sareswari, Vijay Nelapati, aka Yanni, on keys and bass.
